He has competed as a high school angler in the NY Bass Federation and TBF State Championships in 2016 and 2017. He has fished numerous open tournaments with his father and is often near the top of the field.

At school Alex is involved in numerous clubs and activities. He has balanced these endeavors with a challenging course load while maintaining high academic standards.

Alex has volunteered his time over the past several years teaching fishing basics to young, aspiring anglers at fishing clinics and seminars. He has also planned and executed creek cleanups along local waterways close to his school.

Alex’s plans for the future include pursuing an environmental science degree and eventually practicing environmental law.
